California-based Niagara Bottling Co. plans to invest at least $35 million
into the plant in Plainfield, where it will treat the water and fill the bottles for shipment.

Brian Hess said the plant will have 37 workers when it opens and that the company expects its operations to grow.
The plant in the western Indianapolis suburb will be the company’s eighth bottling plant and first Midwestern location.
Plainfield officials say the town’s water system has about 7 million gallons of daily capacity available.
