As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe Now“The Bob & Tom Show” has extended its programming agreement with 13 iHeartMedia stations, including its home station of WFBQ-FM 94.7 (Q95) in Indianapolis, the show announced Monday morning.
Terms of the contract extension, including its length, were not disclosed.
“Bob & Tom” has been broadcast by flagship Q95 for 36 years. The program, which is syndicated to more than 100 stations nationwide, has aired weekday mornings on the other iHeartMedia stations involved in the deal for at least 15 years and for as many as 23.
"These stations have been with us for years, so they are jewels in the ‘Bob & Tom’ crown," co-host Tom Griswold said in a written statement.
The markets outside Indianapolis are Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky; Toledo and Dayton, Ohio; Madison and Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Bakersfield, California; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Farmington, New Mexico; Rochester, Minnesota; Springfield, Missouri; and Fort Smith, Arkansas.
“Bob & Tom,” which originated on Q95 in 1983, extended its national syndication agreement with Westwood One earlier this year for at least three years. It began national syndication in 1995 on Premiere Networks and moved to Westwood One in 2014.
