Troy E. Kafka, 48, has joined Centier Bank as its greater Indianapolis market president—a newly-created position for the Merrillville-based bank.

Kafka previously worked for BMO Harris Bank, where he served as market manager for business banking in BMO’s SunWest region.

“We are thrilled to have Troy join our team as we continue our growth in Central Indiana,” Centier Bank Senior Partner Christopher Campbell said in a prepared statement. “His expertise in lending and focus on relationship banking is an amazing fit with our culture and gives us a dynamic leader in the Indianapolis region.”

Centier is a family-owned bank with 61 banking centers, including two locations in Zionsville and one each in Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers and Westfield.
