of the city’s downtown.
Mayor Mark Kruzan wants to limit such businesses from locating around the courthouse square
and along Kirkwood Avenue near the Indiana University campus.
Kruzan told the 10 members of the Formula Business
Ordinance Group on Monday that he hoped for a balanced proposal he could present to the city planning commission.
City planning director Tom Micuda said he would seek details on similar ordinances around the country and that the committee
would likely meet again in a few months.
