Owner Dispatch Media Group promoted Jeff Rosetti to news director of WTHR earlier this month, filling the position Hostetter had for more than five years. Rosetti had been the station’s assistant news director since 2011.
“Jeff has played a significant role in building and maintaining the great legacy of 13 Eyewitness News for the past eight years,” said Larry Delia, WTHR president-GM and president of station owner Dispatch Broadcast Group, in written comments. “I’m confident that his strong team leadership and passion for excellent journalism will advance our mission to engage and enrich the lives of news viewers throughout central Indiana.”
Rosetti joined WTHR in 2011 after serving as senior broadcast producer for CNN’s “Reliable Sources” program. He previously was executive producer at WUSA in Washington, D.C., and WNCN in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Southern Illinois University graduate also had newscast producer jobs in Tampa and Jacksonville, Florida.
