As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowWalmart on Wednesday said it plans to spend $96 million this year in Indiana to remodel 19 stores and expand some of its customer-service options and technology.
Indianapolis stores on the remodel list are at 3805 S. Keystone Ave. in Indianapolis and 410 Grand Valley Boulevard in Martinsville.
The retailer said it would expand grocery pickup to 40 more stores, pickup towers to 22 more stores and grocery delivery from 36 more stores.
Another 51 stores would add automated floor scrubbers and 44 would get automated delivery truck unloaders.
Other stores are being remodeled in cities including Frankfort, Muncie, New Castle, Bloomington and Paoli.
