The chain announced Thursday that it plans to open this summer in the Delta Hotel by Marriott at 5860 Fortune Circle West, near the intersection of Interstate 465 and Sam Jones Parkway, just outside Indianapolis International Airport.
Blue Ridge Hotel Partners, which operates the Delta Hotel, said it will own and operate the restaurant.
The restaurants are franchised by Nashville, Tennessee-based Craftworks Holdings, the operator and franchisor of Logan’s Roadhouse, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant and Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery.
The first Old Chicago location opened in Boulder, Colorado, in 1976. The restaurant carries multiple types of pizza, salads and pasta. The Indianapolis location is expected to carry 90 different beers, including 40 beers on tap.
Old Chicago has other Indiana locations in Evansville, Merrillville and Vincennes. It plans to open another location in Whitestown early next year in a new Staybridge Suites hotel at 6003 Perry Road, which also is operated by Blue Ridge Hotel Partners.
