WebMerge, which has two full-time employees and also is located in Fishers, provides automated contracts, applications, and proposal PDF and Word documents. Both of WebMerge’s employees will join for Formstack.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed and Formstack officials declined to say when the acquisition closed.
Founded in 2011 by Jeremy Clarke, WebMerge has more than 3,000 customers in 80 countries. Since its launch, WebMerge users have processed more than 50 million documents, saving millions of hours on manual document creation, said Clarke, who is one of the employees staying with Formstack.
Formstack’s acquisition of WebMerge is its fourth in a series of acquisitions to expand its workplace productivity platform, following purchases of Bedrock Data, QuickTapSurvey and Fast Forms.
Led by CEO Chris Byers since 2010, Formstack—which in February moved from Castleton to Fishers—has launched dozens of new products and has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. Formstack was also recognized by IBJ in 2018 as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the Indianapolis area.
