The authority board voted Friday morning to authorize the sale.
The undeveloped parcel is at the southeast corner of Ronald Reagan Parkway and Stafford Road, just west of the airport’s solar farm.
HSA Commercial Real Estate, which plans to purchase the land, is a private full-service real estate development and investment firm with offices and properties in 20 states and a current portfolio worth more than $2.5 billion. The company has expertise in industrial, retail, office, health care and mixed-use properties.
HSA declined to provide details to IBJ about its plans for the site.
The developer already owns several other nearby properties, according to Hendricks County real estate records. Those include warehouse/distribution center sites at 845 Columbia Road, 1025 Columbia Road and 845 Airtech Parkway.
