New jobs leads Arbor to thrust into Marion

Indianapolis-based Arbor Homes Inc. announced plans yesterday to build a 227-house subdivision in Marion to take advantage of jobs cropping up at the Dollar General warehouse and other new employers.

It’s the largest such development in the city between Indianapolis and Fort Wayne since the 1960s, according to the Chronicle-Tribune. The houses will cost $90,000 to $180,000.
