Columbia President William Yung told a conference of Evansville business leaders yesterday he doesn’t feel welcome in the city, and that previously announced layoffs of 90 workers are still necessary to cut costs, according to The Evansville Courier & Press.
Weinzapfel asked the Indiana Gaming Commission in March to investigate why Columbia officials hadn’t followed through with a promise to lay of only 20.
