Los Angeles-based Capital Group Cos. plans to add more than 300 investment, accounting and finance jobs in the Indianapolis area, Indiana Economic Development Corp. announced today.

The jobs, which will pay an average salary of at least $50,000, will be located at Capital Group’s existing location at Woodfield Crossing on the northeast side as well as at a new location in Carmel.

The expansion involves moving 300 of its nearly 1,000 existing Capital Bank and Trust workers in the Indianapolis area into the Carmel location later this year.

Capital Group received $4.7 million in incentives from the state and city of Carmel.

The news Carmel offices, which will include 106,000 square feet at 12911 N. Meridian St., will be designed by TVS Architects of Chicago.
