The relocation of Veolia Water’s North American headquarters to Indianapolis from Houston will bring about 100 jobs, according to a source close to the announcement.
Mayor Bart Peterson and Gov. Mitch Daniels have scheduled a news conference at 3:30 this afternoon to announce the relocation.
Veolia Water manages all operations, maintenance and customer-service facets of Indianapolis’ waterworks system.
Veolia opened a training center on the downtown canal in February, one of 12 it operates globally. The center offers nearly 200 training courses.
