Mayor Bart Peterson and Gov. Mitch Daniels have scheduled a news conference this afternoon at 3:30 to announce a “corporate relocation of North American operations to Indianapolis.”
The news release about the announcement contains a file attachment labeled Veolia Water.
Veolia Water is the Houston-based water division of Veolia Environment, which is based in France. Veolia Water manages all operations, maintenance and customer service facets of Indianapolis’ waterworks system.
City officials could not be reached for comment, and state officials refused to discuss the release.
