The Van Buren Township, Mich., company informed employees of the decision Friday, according to the Times-Mail in Bedford.
Visteon said the southern Indiana plant, which makes fuel-delivery modules for Ford, does not operate in the company’s core businesses of climate control, interiors, electronics and lights.
