Subscribe NowEngineering design work began Monday for more than $4 million in public infrastructure improvements needed for expansion of Pfizer Inc.’s Terre Haute operations. Pfizer’s $330 million expansion will support its inhaled insulin Exubera, which has been having disappointing sales, causing the company to temporarily halt production earlier this year. Water service also is being expanded. Bonds, which will be repaid from taxes paid by Pfizer, will fund the infrastructure improvements.
