Sparks replaces longtime development director Christopher Pfaff, who resigned in May to become director of the Center for Business Support and Economic Innovation at Indiana State University in Terre Haute.
The center is ISU’s part of a new organization called the Terre Haute Innovation Alliance. The alliance, which focuses on stimulating the economy, is a partnership among ISU, the city, the Terre Haute Economic Development Corp. and the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology.
Taking Sparks’ place will be Jason T. Hester, who heads economic development in Kokomo.
