Lucas’ $122 million investment to secure naming rights for the new Indianapolis Colts stadium caught the attention of Chief Frank Burrows, who was contemplating switching to synthetic motor oil for the department’s fleet of 16 police cars.
The result is an annual savings of nearly $24,000, based on an average of 70,000 miles per year, the police department says. The difference is that Lucas’ synthetic oil is changed less than traditional motor oil.
