Subscribe NowThe president of the Yorktown town council said yesterday that many sources tell him Indianapolis-based Clarian Health Partners plans to develop a 100-acre site at the southwest corner of Nebo Road and State Road 332, west of Muncie.
Steve Lowry’s confirmation is the first to be made officially, according to The Star-Press of Muncie.
The project would cost as much as $70 million and create upward of 170 jobs, Delaware County Redevelopment Commission Director Bruce Baldwin told the newspaper.
The Yorktown council plans to vote tomorrow whether to de-annex 27 of the 100 acres that fall within its jurisdiction. The anticipated approval would allow Clarian to operate all 100 acres in an unincorporated area under Delaware County jurisdiction.
