Lauth announced the closing today.
As IBJ reported a year ago, Westpoint Business Park will have 10 warehouses. They will have a total of 7.1 million square feet, and range from 500,000 to 1.4 million square feet. Construction on the first building, with 520,000 square feet, will begin in spring, Lauth said.
A major selling point is the location’s proximity to the interstate and Indianapolis International Airport. The intersection is the next interchange west of Plainfield, which is rapidly filling with warehouses.
