Seller Scott Meyers purchased the 200,000-square-foot incubator in May 2005 and has since added 34 companies and 10,000 square feet of office and warehouse space.
It has a total of 72 tenants who share equipment and pay lower rent until they are healthy enough to operate on their own. The incubator has “graduated” three companies, Meyers said.
Meyers, a local real estate investor, said he sold the building at 55 S. State Ave. to devote more time to his self-storage business and two startup companies he owns.
Incubator tenants include Bosma Industries, Half Price Books and HealthNet Inc.
