The authority is asking artists to submit proposals for two sculptures to go in the north garden at the new midfield terminal.
Proposals are due Dec. 21, with one sculpture scheduled for installation in late 2008 and another in 2009.
The sculptures will be just the latest in the new terminal’s $3.9 million arts program that includes everything from mosaic tile work on the floors to massive glass art windows in the terminal walkways.
The $1.1 billion terminal, paid for by airport revenues and a small portion from federal funds, is scheduled to open in late 2008.
