As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowConnextions Inc. of Orlando, Fla., will locate a secure customer support center in Jeffersonville, creating 750 jobs, the Indiana Economic Development Corp. announced this afternoon.
The $6 million project in the southern Indiana city will be similar to locations the company operates in Orlando and Concord, N.C. Connextions employs a total of 2,000.
The company employs insurance agents, registered nurses and technical support specialists, among others, to support clients, including Golden Rule, Federal Express and Sprint.
Connextions received $4.7 million in state incentives. The city offered tax abatements.
