The contract is for a minimum of $382,000, including a $312,000 advertising budget from the Imax Theater and $70,000 in dollars pooled from all the park’s venues. The co-op pool may increase its funding after Borshoff helps it come up with a new marketing strategy.
Eighteen companies bid on the deal, which is seen as a high-profile addition to a marketing firm’s portfolio.
The park is home to the Indianapolis Zoo and White River Gardens, the Indiana State Museum and Imax Theater, the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, NCAA Hall of Champions and Victory Field.
