The Morgantown native supported causes ranging from downtown redevelopment to bringing to Columbus art by Dale Chihuly, whose tower of blown glass is a permanent sculpture in the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
J. Irwin Miller, who was CEO of Cummins Engine Co., died in 2004 at age 94. The couple married in 1943.
Among their five children is Will Miller, CEO of Irwin Financial, a bank based in Columbus.
