Instead, Escalade will import the line from China.
The company will lay off 25 workers in Evansville as a result, according to the Evansville Courier & Press.
Escalade, which also makes pool tables, basketball goals and other sports equipment, started the children’s archery business nearly 80 years ago.
On Friday, the company reported stagnant fourth-quarter profit of $2.6 million.
