Amstutz, who served as chief counsel and director of policy under Peterson, takes over April 14. The position has been vacant since May 2007, when Scott Massey resigned to lead a think tank.
The Indiana Humanities Council is an Indianapolis-based policy organization. It says its mission is to “to be a leader, key partner, and trusted voice in providing a humanities perspective for issues crucial to a changing Indiana.”
