Subscribe NowLifetouch Inc., one of the nation’s largest portrait photographers, plans to consolidate call centers elsewhere in the country into its Muncie operation, resulting in a building expansion and 200 additional workers over several years, according to The Star Press of Muncie.
About 7,700 square feet will be added to its 12,700-square-foot facility in Morrison Mock Professional Center on the city’s west side.
A photo processing lab it operates at nearby Muncie Airpark has about 450 workers during seasonal peaks.
Headquartered in the Minneapolis suburb of Eden Prairie, Lifetouch takes school pictures and has studios in J.C. Penney and Target stores.
