3 thoughts on “ACLU of Indiana asks state high court to keep near-total abortion ban on hold

  1. Last state to sell alcohol on Sunday. Refusing to take advantage of (potential) legal marijuana sales while our neighbors cash in. Constant rumblings from literally everyone about the condition of our roads, bridges, infrastructure.

“Indiana became the first state to enact tighter abortion restrictions after the U.S. Supreme Court eliminated federal protections by overturning Roe v. Wade in June 2022.”

The priorities of the (mainly) rich white lawmakers seem to be at odds with, oh idk, the majority of the voting populace? Plain and simple, this doesn’t help Hoosiers. It intentionally hurts them, for political points with the religious right. I will forever be embarrassed by this legislation and all that support it. We can do better.

  2. “women facing serious health risks to obtain abortions”

The ACLU, makes the case that life saving abortions should not be in a limited medical service facility!
