The United Nations in December named current CEO Beth Bechdol to serve as deputy director general of its Food and Agriculture Organization, and the AgriNovus board is working on the transition.
Joining the board are Mark “Doc” Holt, president of First Farmers Bank & Trust; Courtney Kingery, CEO of the Indiana Soybean Alliance and Indiana Corn Marketing Council; and Daniel Padrao, chief operating officer of Solinftec, which is moving its global headquarters to West Lafayette.
“As AgriNovus prepares for a transition to its next CEO, having these organizations and their leaders come forward and support the agbioscience community demonstrates the deep commitment we have from our stakeholders,” Bechdol said in a statement.
