Scheduled Sept. 3-4 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, the All IN event also will feature all-star tributes to Tom Petty and the Allman Brothers Band, plus performances by Lucinda Williams, Dawes, Trampled by Turtles and the Four Tops.
Founded by former Sunshine Promotions co-owners Steve Sybesma and Dave Lucas, former Bonnaroo festival executive Paul Peck and Umphrey’s McGee co-manager Kevin Browning, the Labor Day weekend festival will be presented on multiple stages at the fairgrounds.
Two-day tickets, priced at “early bird” and VIP levels, go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday at allinfestival.com.
All IN is the second two-day music festival making an Indianapolis debut this summer, following WonderRoad. On June 11-12, WonderRoad will present Vampire Weekend, Lord Huron and Bastille as part of a 27-artist lineup at Garfield Park.
Nineteen All IN performers have been announced, plus the tributes to Petty and the Allmans billed as “dreamsets.”
Members of Dawes will perform as part of the Petty dreamset in addition to their own festival appearance. The Allman Brothers Band dreamset will feature Duane Betts, the son of Allman Brothers Band co-founder Dickey Betts, and Widespread Panic keyboard player John “JoJo” Hermann. Special guests are expected for each dreamset.
Mike Campbell, the long-running guitarist in Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, will bring his current band, the Dirty Knobs, to All IN, but Campbell is not listed as part of the Petty tribute.
Hearty Har, a band featuring two sons of Creedence Clearwater Revival founder Fogerty, will perform at the festival.
Julia Kahn, Doug Henthorn, J. Elliott and the Rob Dixon Trio are Indiana artists scheduled to perform at All IN. Organizers plan additional performer announcements in coming weeks.
Overnight camping spaces featuring water, power and sewer access will be available to festival attendees. For more information, visit allinfestival.com.

I am 31. My father is nearing 60. We both want to go to this festival. I cannot understate what an achievement this is.
Love the Allman tribute! Three generations of our family will be there!
