  1. Rokita needs to go away. He’s just looking for headlines. The Governor is not a “state agency” and he knows it. Nor does the Governor lose his state’s rights as a citizen, any of whom, could file this lawsuit to defend the powers afforded the Executive Branch. The Legislature over-stepped our constitution and are having a classic “knee-jerk” reaction because they don’t want our elected senior executive to be able to tell them what to do in the event of an emergency. If my building’s on fire, I’m not going to convene a group of employees to approve my order to evacuate the building. Stop this nonsense.
