The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana dropped from 1,015 on Friday to 991 on Saturday —up only slightly from 985 on April 1.
The state reported four new deaths from COVID-19, increasing the cumulative total to 12,864.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 increased from 853 on Friday to 861 on Saturday. Hospitalizations have risen 23.5% since April 1. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The health department reported the testing of 4,184 new individuals.
The state said more than 1.73 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Sunday at 5 a.m. More than 2.28 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
