  1. Wow! INDOT’S emails and links anonymously invited me, if I really cared. This sounds like another cause to just complain about. Maybe Mr Comrade can make you all feel better.

  2. What will serve all Indiana residents and stakeholders best is to have leadership that is the MOST QUALIFIED TO LEAD BASED ON TECHNICAL AND BUSINESS CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE, REGARDLESS OF ETHNICITY. This is an approach that is “color blind”. In other words, preference is not based on quotas or percentages of contrived “divided” groups, but on merit with respect to education, experience, competency, track record, and attitude. This approach yields the greatest return on investment, regardless of who makes the investment. Resources are limited. They are becoming more so every day. It is critically necessary to expend resources in the most efficient manner possible. That maximizes sustainability and that is in everyone’s best interest. We need the most qualified expertise to lead us to actions that yield the most bang for the buck, regardless of ethnicity/color. Activists need to stop discriminating!

  3. I think these guys have made a good point. INDOT has a history of running roughshod over minority communities. See how minority neighborhoods were ripped apart and keep getting targeted by road projects all over the country. The history is not good.

If it looks like asking for a seat at the table is discrimination, then you I hope you can see how that might be part of the problem. Somebody should be pushing back and if it goes to far the other direction for a little while, it is not undeserved.

It would be too bad that minority communities would get left in the dust AGAIN.
