This is the second year the camp has been held in Westfield, under a 10-year deal with the city struck in 2017. Last year’s camp drew more than 30,000 fans, a 50% increase from 2016, when the Colts held camp at Anderson University. That camp, which featured fewer public practices, attracted about 20,000 fans.
There is no cost to attend training camp, though fans and guests are required to have a ticket, which can be obtained for free at Colts.com/camp.
Among the fan amenities is Colts City, which features a Play 60 field, inflatables, the team’s pro shop, and other activities.
This year’s camp will include joint practices with the Cleveland Browns on Aug. 14-15. The teams will play a preseason game Aug. 17 at Lucas Oil Stadium.•
