  1. Quote: “…not-for-profits involved in the climate crisis.” Right. Such altruistic folks; why, some of them might even fly commercial on occasion if their private jets are down for repairs!

  2. So Bezos chips in 5% of his wealth into a charitable trust he controls, I guess that sorta nice. Then he actually disperses 7.9% of that to outside organizations. So that’s a whopping 0.4% of his wealth actually went to charities. Yeah, yeah, I know that’s more than I gave, more than I’ve ever given in my life, and more than I will ever earn in my life. But stop and ask if that’s the best he can do when he still has $187 billion left. And he’s made about $71 billion in this year alone. Take a peek at what his ex-wife is doling out – actually disgorging – not to her own foundations. It’s orders of magnitude more than Jeff and he’s got about 5-8 x what she has.
