Deaths have exceeded 25 in the report for 33 straight days.
The department said 7,695 new individuals were tested, the sixth time in the past week that testing in that category has dropped below 10,000.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 rose from to 2,714 on Saturday to 2,836 on Sunday. The high mark was 3,460 set on Nov. 30.
COVID-19 patients occupy 30.4% of the state’s intensive care beds.
The 7-day positivity rate for unique individuals is 25.9%.
