Dana Black’s honest assessment echoes what I feel as a leader. I appreciate her direct comments about what hate is doing to this country. The distraction of hate has no place in our government when homelessness continues to rise and folks cannot afford to put food on their table for their homes that are overflowing with people and children. Rather than waste tax-payer money on fighting against minorities or folks that look or act differently than you, let’s get the government back to work to raise the minimum wage, create more affordable housing, fund and fixed our education systems, and fight the mental health crisis that is growing exponentially. The whole world is watching the US make worse decisions for its people by the minute. We must focus on the issues that affect the majority of US humans like healthcare and our children’s futures!
