    1. JL – here’s a good definition, and all that they, as an American-based company, need to provide for Russia: “Our Russian operations are now only focused on ensuring people suffering from diseases like cancer and diabetes continue to get the Lilly medicines they need.” Frankly, they are lucky that we are taking care of the common person in Russian and not punishing them for their government’s brutality in Ukraine. That’s because we’re civilized people. Um… and did you notice the part about this is a decision made by a company, not the government. You must see government intervention everywhere you turn.

  1. Does anyone else find it ironic that Lilly will continue to provide life-saving drugs to Russia, while the world watches that country bomb and kill the Ukrainian citizens every day?

    1. Wow, you’re in favor of hurting Russian citizens because you don’t like that the Russian government is doing?

    2. As a cancer survivor myself, I agree with this tough call by Lilly. It was pure luck that I was born where access to medical care is available.

    1. DL, re-read: “Our Russian operations are now only focused on ensuring people suffering from diseases like cancer and diabetes continue to get the Lilly medicines they need.” I do not know what medicines this leaves out, but it seems they are taking care of people with the most serious of illnesses.
