  1. Technology-illiterate and overly idealistic parents think that this bill would actually protect minors.

    In reality, it would give minors an incentive to put their neuroplasticity to work getting around these false guard rails, all while parents develop a false sense of security.

    Not to mention the 1A stuff.

    This bill is just a disaster.

    A major ID-verification service was hacked recently. “AU10TIX” used by Uber, Twitter, and TikTok was breached.

    But it’s clear enough that since Rokita supports it, the law is fundamentally evil.
