  1. This is a bit of good news. I just hope it actually ends up being a real project. It is sad to drive down 65 and see all the neighborhoods cut in half with a hugh ribbon of concret running through them.

    1. It is too bad – hopefully with success in the south split it won’t take another 50 years before the north split is re-designed correctly.

    2. Hopefully in 20 years … 465 can be redesigned to take the load and it can be torn down and returned to the property tax rolls as new development. Even accounting for a couple boulevards to move traffic … the foot print would be less.

      In the interim – the inner loop should be made a toll road for large trucks driving through.
