The 7,500-seat Fishers Event Center is scheduled to open in November at the Yard at Fishers District, east of Interstate 69, between East 106th and East 116th streets, and southeast of Ikea.
Stirling, an electric violinist, dancer and aerialist, will visit Fishers Event Center on Nov. 29 as part of her 21-date North American Snow Waltz Tour 2024. Cirque du Soleil’s “Crystal” production will have five performances at the arena from Jan. 23-26.
“There’ll be a lot of firsts that first couple months of the arena,” Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness told IBJ in July. “This first year is really going to be something pretty unique and special.”
Tickets for Stirling’s Snow Waltz Tour go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. General ticket sales for “Crystal” will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday.
The performances add to a growing schedule of concerts, events and games at Fishers Event Center.
Country music band Turnpike Troubadours, along with bluegrass-influenced band Trampled by Turtles and singer Tyler Halverson, will open the arena Nov. 22, while comedian Leanne Morgan will take her national tour to the event center Nov. 30.
All Elite Wrestling’s AEW: Dynamite and AEW: Rampage shows will take place Dec. 4. Country-rock band Alabama and singer-songwriter Lee Greenwood will perform Dec. 9.
The $170 million arena will be the home of the Indy Fuel minor league hockey team beginning in the 2024-25 season, and the Fishers Freight professional indoor football team and Indy Ignite professional women’s volleyball team starting in 2025.
The Indy Fuel, an affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks, is moving from Indiana Farmers Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and will be the anchor tenant of Fishers Event Center. The ECHL team plays 36 home games each season.
The Fuel will play their first home game at Fishers Event Center at 7 p.m. Dec. 6 against the Iowa Heartlanders. The team will begin the season with 15 consecutive road games before finally coming home to its new arena, where it will play eight games before the end of 2024.
The Fishers Freight will be an expansion team in the Indoor Football League, while the Indy Ignite will be a member of the Pro Volleyball Federation. The Ignite will begin play in January, and the Freight will have its first game in March.
Fishers Event Center will also host high school sporting events, such as the annual Mudsock rivalry basketball game between Fishers High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School at 6 p.m. Dec. 20.
Last month, Fishers officials announced the city reached a naming-rights deal for the Fishers Event Center’s outdoor plaza. Indianapolis-based Forum Credit Union purchased the plaza’s naming rights in a deal that will provide just more than $4 million over 10 years. The city is still looking to sell naming rights for the arena.
Indianapolis-based Thompson Thrift Development LLC is project manager for the construction of Fishers Event Center and developer of the Yard at Fishers District. New York-based SCI Architects, a company that worked on renovations of Madison Square Garden in Manhattan and Kia Forum in Los Angeles, designed Fishers Event Center. ASM Global, a Los Angeles-based facility management company, is the venue’s manager.

This place is like the Dogers Stadium of C-tier suburban stadiums. In a sea of parking lots & a single 2-lane road to get in & out. It’s going to be another headache to get to like Deer Creek.
It’s right next to 69. Police will be stationed to help get people in and out just like they do for deer creek.
This is a good thing for Fishers overall and a little bit of traffic for 15-30 minutes after events will be well worth it economically
