Clark Kellogg, a former Indiana Pacers player and a CBS Sports analyst, has joined First Merchants Corp.’s board of directors, the Muncie-based company announced Thursday.

Kellogg played basketball at Ohio State University from 1979 to 1982 and for the Pacers from 1982 until 1987, when knee issues forced him to retire.

After retiring from the NBA, Kellogg became a studio analyst at CBS Sports. He also returned to school and earned a marketing degree from Ohio State in 1996. Kellogg currently lives in the Columbus, Ohio, area and has been a member of First Merchants’ Ohio region advisory board since 2001.

First Merchants Corp. is the holding company for First Merchants Bank, which has $10.7 billion in assets. First Merchants operates more than 100 branch offices in Indiana, Ohio and Illinois, including 26 in the Indianapolis area.
