  1. Experienced this last week when I went to use it to do my daughter’s taxes. Because she owns a 20 shares of a stock she was given when she was born, and that stock pays a whopping $80 in dividends. Turbo Tax cost us over $100. It is bait and switch.

  2. It’s free to use Turbo Taxes to prepare your taxes. But if you want to actually file them, that will cost you. Yes, more than a little misleading, to say the least.
