  1. Chips that are still hard to source…precious minerals that China holds the vast majority of and a power grid in this country that cannot possibly provide all the “clean energy” that our DC friends will need to supply these EV’s. What else can you add to the list?

    1. If Republicans weren’t so “pro-business” (taking big money from utility lobbyists) and anti-environment, we would see more home solar panels and the people that can afford new electric vehicles would produce their own electricity right at home.

  2. So people have to lose their jobs so automakers can make electric vehicles that a majority of people don’t want and/or need. Welcome to mass stupidity!!

    1. The vast majority DO WANT EV’s just not the over priced models the auto industry is pedaling to rich folks.

  3. Picture yourself 10 years into the future. It’s a freezing cold night (using your car heat at max temp) and you are stuck on I-465 for a bad accident.

You literally watch your power going down very quickly. No problem, you can exit 2 miles ahead…in about an hour…and you car software says there is a power source at a Kroger store ahead.

Oh no, there are 17 cars in line ahead of you!

Screw that, I’ll keep my ICE for as long as it will run.
