Ryan Mears is a joke, typical lib just watching as the city goes down the drain!
So you can buy elections!
I don’t live in Marion County but intend to make a donation to the Carrasco campaign. The current woke prosecutor presents a danger to all central Indiana residents.
Anyone who has studied the numbers knows this is not a winnable race for a Republican. Marion County is now the most Democratic county in the State of Indiana, even more than Lake County. Pike, Washington, Lawrence, Wayne, Center and Warren are probably 70% or more Democratic. A Republican can’t win Marion County just winning the three southernmost townships. Decatur and Franklin just don’t have much in the way of population that can offset the heavily Democratic northern six most townships.
The Marion County GOP can be rebuilt, but it will be a long slog. It will take party leaders like Elsener ceding power to the grass roots workers. The grass roots Marion County GOP workers have been stripped of their power over the years. Now, it’s party leaders who pick the nominees. That has to change and the first step needs to be the elimination of slating which is all about a handful of party leaders deciding who the candidates will be.
