  1. Hopefully they win. When the post office can’t deliver mail on time, why hold the voters responsible? If it’s mailed out on election day, the core should count.

    1. This is the greatest country in the world and we have vote at the polling place since our inception. If freedom and liberty means so little that you can not, will not or do not care enough to go to a polling place and vote then you deserve to be disenfranchised. Surly to God you can get your ballot to the county election board prior to November 3rd we have only know election day is the first Tuesday in November since 1845. Get off your ass and go vote like a citizen of the United States. Not everyone in the world has the opportunity to free and safe elections do what is right to maintain that and avoid all the distraction to muddy the waters.

And NO Wesley voter should not get to mail it out on election day to be counted it need to be received no later than election day. And as I recall government offices are closed on election day so it should be a minimum of 3 business days prior to election day to be accounted for.

    2. Steve R: So if a voter drops their ballot in the mail a week before Election Day, but then the USPS takes 8 days to get it there (not unreasonable), they should lose their vote?

  2. Mail it today. or next week….get it there now! Why take a chance? Or better yet, go stand in line and vote like I am going to do and have done for 45 years! It is a privilege to vote. Enjoy it!
