  1. It never occurred to me that potatoes had a gender. If anything, I’d suppose they’re asexual. By making them genderless, Hasbro opens a market, or what market there is for decorated potatoes, to both genders. I don’t believe there’s a recorded case of potatoes mating, so I suppose American values are safe.
