He’s right… he does have unfinished business. The roads in Marion County still look like junk under his leadership!
Dear Mr. Mayor,
Please finish the dozens of projects that are in progress before closing more and more roads and making the daily commute even worse than the crawling nightmare it’s already become. A mall renovation? For Pete’s sake, is that really in high demand and isn’t that property privately owned (not sure)? Put that money to the crime problem. Nobody likes going to lunch downtown anymore because of the potential “shake-down” for coin, by those who have literally nothing at all to lose. It’s also why most work from home every other day. Downtown used to be an awesome place to work! Increase the police presence downtown today, not tomorrow, not after the election. The good news is that you don’t have to make anyone wait. Why? You’ve already have the job. Good luck and go get ’em!
Unfinished business? Maybe completely destroying downtown Indianapolis? You’ve done enough. No thanks to another 4 years. The crime is at an all time high. You want to pay our police force and train them now? Why have you waited until now? Indianapolis downtown was a nice place to visit once upon a time. See YA!!
I can’t think of one good thing about this announcement…
At least it’s a potential reprieve from Indy getting a mayor who does an even worse job. A third term of Hogsett will at least stave off a first term of a potential Lori Lightfoot or Ted Wheeler.
Of course you’re not here to talk about yesterday? I wouldn’t want to talk about my yesterdays if I were you either. You run the city into the ground and then promise to make it better in your next campaign? Sorry clown, but you’ve had your chance to improve our city. You failed us, and failed us in spectacular fashion. Move on.
Boss Hogsett. The Lori Lightfoot of Indiana.
