  1. Publicity hound Rokita gets to dip into the taxpayers wallets as often as his imagination allows. If Trump decides to run again, hold on to your wallets folks because that so called conservative will spend like the proverbial drunken sailor on his many admoration/ job seeking trips at your expense.

  2. Total waste. We all know the only fiscally acceptable trips to the border are to find the root cause, or for a photo opp while wearing a white suit.

    1. And if we provide a number, how will you know if it’s accurate?
      .
Meaning: you either won’t know or you think you know a number — so why don’t you answer the question yourself? Then we’ll find out how brilliant you think you are.
      .

    1. I’d guess in the net negative by millions?

They’re paying taxes and will never receive any of the benefits.

  3. A “Border Security Briefing” for States Attorney Generals sounds very important when our Southern Border is “wide open” with record numbers of illegal immigrants crossing that border daily and being quickly relocated to nearly all other US states. Need to find out who the travel agent is. Round-trip airfare, gas, car rental, and hotels for three travelers for $ 766.66 each at a time when inflation is a at a record forty-year high and increasing daily is an unheard of value. Article does not report if meals were part of the expenses, but even without meal costs it is an impressive value. Very “conservative” travel approach. With that budget model, he’ll never get very far politically as nearly all US representatives, senators, staffers, and appointed bureaucrat “drunken sailors” spend far greater sums traveling for far less important reasons.
